Rescued our dog from this place over 9 years ago. She had been there since she was a puppy. She was a nervous wreck with chronic fear aggression. It has taken us years of training and tlc to regain her trust.

Carried out work experience here few years back, animals in a right state! Sheila was very rude with me even though I was spending my spare time helping out there. About time it's been looked into.

My first encounter with this establishment was many years ago. My cat went missing and could not find until a friend saw him in the Evening Leader. Upon initial contact, they lied to me many times stating they did not have the described cat from the Evening Leader. However, I persisted and it took a lot of persuasion to say I was the owner and get him back. Suffice to say in my opinion she stole him from near my home and probably claimed she was rescuing him. He would not wear a tag and had never gone missing before. Upon picking him up he straight away recognised me and seemed underfed. This place needs to be closed down not just on the basis on the state of establishment and animal welfare, but also the unethical use of funds she has received over the years.

Agree, inspect this place. I volunteered here over 10 years ago and they had a fox locked in a cage, a squirrel locked in a cage, rabbits in tiny cages, awful. All the cats were in one room together with one cat playing football with 2 day old kittens.

They have changed name to phoenix rehoming centre so still going and what happened to my friend today is discussing
