She sold my bothers dog without checking who owned him even tho he had a chip and was registered at the local vets and then told us we would never see him again! Vile women

Volunteered dog walking last year, owner sheila never vetted us and was always rude. Only did it for the sake of the dogs to get them out. Never saw the place clean although volunteers always trying.

After volunteering at this animal shelter I was horrified by the management of the charity and the property, the treatment of the animals and the sheer rudeness of Sheila. I was left to my own devices after filling in a volunteer form for Sheila; there was no briefing, no tour of the grounds, no instructions and I was left to find my own way to the kennels and to find a helpful volunteer to assist me with taking the dogs for a walk. The mess that each animal was left to suffer in is dispicable. There was a room full of new born kittens which also housed a snake. There were many different animals all in a muddy field together who were scared and skittish. It was in the middle of summer and we found most of the hutches had NO water in at all; after filling them up with water we watched one particular rabbit drink from their bottle for a solid 10 minutes without coming for air once. That is not a sign of a well cared for animal. A week after walking two of the loveliest dogs who were perfectly fine I found out Sheila had put them down. When I questioned her on this she suggested that I was making up my concerns and that I was trying to smear her and her charity. When I provided photographic evidence of the state the animals were left in and of the two dogs I had walked she then blocked me from commenting and deleted all my comments. Sheila is a vile woman who uses the charity as a front for financial gain. She neglects the animals deliberately in order to save money and I am disgusted that this has been allowed to happen for so long, particularly when the trustees have filed official complaints and have evidence.

After taking a dog from this rescue that had been in his tiny kennel for 9 months malnourished, not taken out for walks regularly it is about time this petition is available to sign. My dog has needed continuous amounts of training due to no rehabilitation which is continuous, he has now improved huge amounts with a little TLC it just really proves what a dog needs.

Was only interested in re homing my dog once Sheila knew he was full pedigree ... Definitely more about the money ££££ than the future care of the dog ...

I took mother cat and her four litter off the streets and took them here and they were all put in one room with sofa and loads of other cats think they would have been better left where I was looking after them woman was not very sociable .

I fostered a cat from here for 3 days. The poor thing had been kept locked away in her house! Sheila told me she had a big tummy from eating, it was actually swollen from neglect, the poor thing had a bent tail and didn't look well, I took her to the vet and they said she was severely dehydrated, had liver disease and was in a very bad way and that it was best to put her to sleep, the cat had been at Capricorn for a year! Disgusting! Also the people asking why hadn't anything been done sooner, because Sheila lies and tries to cover things up. Awful sick hoarder.

I have witnessed the conditions at this so called rescue centre and was disgusted by every part of it. The staff were so rude to me and my friend that we just walked away.

My dog got out of the back garden & was only gone 2 hours, she tried telling me she'd had it for 3 days & wanted paying!! She said would only take cash as she didn't trust any1 & was very rude & abusive!!!
