Get Capricorn animal rescue 1048511 looked into and founder Sheila Stewart removed.

I'm not happy with the animals living conditions !

I carried out my 2 week work experience at capricorn a number of years ago, sheila was rude, dirty and antisocial, the animals where only excersized because of me and 2 other students and the pens where kept clean them to weeks again because of us

I was refused permission to view the animals in the kennels and only allowed to view through pictures in a folder which tells you nothing of an animals personality

Put them into the same treatment as they put the animals

After having worked for an Animal Rescue myself 10yrs ago and then visiting Capricorn I was sickened the place had a stench of death, myself and i had gone to rescue some guinea pigs which as so called friend of ours had dumped on them , In total there where 10 girls , we explained and we where shown the evidence of who had signed them in as being abandoned, which isn't good practice to start with but then she told us if we wanted them back they where £30 each as had all been scanned for pregnancy only the day before, we eventually agreed to pay £15 each but we where only allowed to take 6 of the girls as she had people coming to look , the guinea pigs had been with her from only 48hrs and where kept in small hutches in groups I was so glad to get away from the place just wished we could of taken all the guinea pigs with us, something desperately needs doing about this place, yes Sheila was abrupt in talking but also very rude in mid conversation answering phone call s and disappearing x

This is animal abuse & they should be removed

I am concerned for the welfare of the animals and the conditions they are kept under this families care.

Funny how when money goes missing a new car arrives on the drive way.

My son and I took a Christmas hamper for the animals one year, she was rude and ungrateful. Told us to leave it in the corner. My son left feeling deflated and upset at the lack of gratitude and interest. We had a look around and I felt the enclosures were dirty and smelly. Haven't been back since

So many negative comments suggest a problem.

There is no excuse for animal abuse!

I'm still convinced she took my dog from me under false pretences although I don't have much proof but she made it sound worse on her Facebook page than it actually was

needs taking out of the control of the stewarts and new admin to take it over OUT THEM

This place is an absolute hell hole!!!!!! I feel sorry for any animal that ends up being here! They should both be banned from looking after animals for life

Being an animal lover I was really excited to volunteer for Capricorn for a couple of weeks on work experience from the job centre. Although I had taken the time out to help I can honestly agree with this petition in every way. Sheila is in no way polite or thankful for the help of volunteers. The amount of fast food wrappers you see in the living room of the house makes anyone suspicious, seeing as Capricorn is meant to be a "non-profit organisation" oh, and the two Subaru Impreza's that were once parked outside. The living conditions is disgusting. I was shocked within the first two minutes of being there.

She mistreats all the animals there it's dirty and shelila is rude and abusive!!!

Please help these poor animals they deserve better.

Have had bad experiences not just with the centre but the woman and her so called charity shop. It definately calls for a review

I have been to the rescue and seen for myself the state of things. Although she has tried her best things just snow balled out of control.
