A rescue centre? What a joke. These poor animals need rescuing from this disgraceful environment asap. Complete animal neglect and abuse. If the RSPCA can't see this then it really is a huge worry!

I volunteered a few years ago with school. Only just managed a day and then swore i would never ever go back there. Absolutely vile place

One of my daughters went to volunteer for a day and refused ever to go there again as she was so upset about the conditions the animals were living in. During the summer my other daughter went as she wanted a kitten, she also came away concerned about the conditions!

Breaks my heart to see the cats and kittens in such awful conditions, kept in what can only be described as a green house with the door shut. Small cages with 3,4 and sometimes 5 to a tight space. Something needs to be done because its bordering on horrific what these poor animals have to deal with.

I tried to adopt a dog from there a while ago but I wasn't given a thought....the place was dirty and in a state then,doesn't look like it's improved.... Utterly disgusting!!!

The animals need rescuing from this rescue! I have seen it first hand and am shocked that anyone would keep animals in such horrific conditions, let alone a rescue.

Im so upset to be reading this she should be prosocuted for the neglect her and her staff have caused these helpless animals

My son had to be admitted to hospital as an emergency case.He had two beautiful Saluki Lurchers.The female had just had a litter of pups.work commitments prevented me from looking after them,in desperation I phoned `Capricorn`And almost begged this lady for help as I was at my wits end.She point blank refused,I found her attitude very strange as she is suppose to be an animal lover.

Where are Defra and the kennel inspection teams? Why has this place been passed as I thought all rescue centres had to be checked yearly??

I have been to a Capricorn animal rescue centre before looking to rescue a dog and the living conditions for all the animals were absolutley appalling I felt terrible for these animals I do hope they go to a better place
