Come on- give the kids a proper snow day, they work hard. I even saw a teacher on the slopes while my child was working!

Bearing in mind that we received at least as much work on the snow day as we would on a normal day, removing an inset day does not seem entirely fair.
We recognise the need for year 11’s and 13’s to have as many teaching hours as possible but perhaps a revision day for just those groups would be more appropriate.
Inset days are also useful in catching up with work, doing extra subject reading, revision for summer exams and, in the coming weeks for year 12, preparing for university applications.

I don't think it's that fair to be honest because we got work on the snow day, if we got no work on those days than I would be completely fine with this.

This is absolutely ridiculous my child had to stay at home because of the snow (which I would like to add was not her fault) and you emailed her work (in fact you sent her more work than she would normally get) and now you expect her to come to school for another day!
I want to spend some time with my daughter!
Please give the student of pgs including my daughter their inset day back!
