Please David Cameron intervene quickly. These parents must be released from custody to their sick son's bedside and to care for the rest of their family. I have never written a plea like this on any website but feelings in my friends, family and neighbours are all totally in support of the Kings so do something fast before many families despair at our politicians inability to act or indeed even respond to a desperate situation.
William graham start a petition for that then, I think you'll find people do already have cosmetic surgery on the nhs, boob jobs, tummy tucks. So your refusing to sign this petition to give a child a treatment that has been proven to work and saved the life of a boy who had an 8cm brain tumour that the nhs missed for 8 months?! Who then had treatment that the uk provided and the cancer came back worse than ever and he wasn't given a very high chance of survival, then had this treatment in America and is now healthy again?!
This family should be together to support each other through this horrendous time. Separating this family will cause so much upset and stress to all involved.
It is a disgrace the manner in which the police have handled this. I am furious that they have been allowed to treat the parents as criminals. This poor little boy needs his mother and father to be with him. He cannot communicate and is in a strange place he must be terrified. Our police and politicians need to be severely reprimanded over this display of outrageous actions. Where has the common sense gone we have none left in this country.
What nonsense ! It is the hospital and the NHS offering only radiotherapy which they have told the parents is highly likely to lead to extensive brain damage. Photon radiation which has been successful in so called terminal cases is available at considerable expense in America. These loving parents are selling their assets to raise the cash. What a puerile argument to compare that with cosmetic surgery.
I want to say two things about this petition.... Firstly - his name is Ashya - not Aysha. At least get that right for goodness sake and gain some credibilty!!!! Secondly, it appears to me that most people's comments are signing to say that the decision to arrest the parents was wrong and that they should be released - NOT necessarily supporting the actual wording of this petition, which is demanding that the NHS should provide the specialist treatment that has so far been denied. There is a much, much larger petition calling for the parent's release, that currently has over 100,000 signature, so is much more likely to elicit the required response. This is worrying for all parents. In Wales there is a bill going through to give the welfare rights to the government. Even without such laws this can happen. What then? They even considered forcing MMR jabs previously. Our rights are being eroded? It begins with what you can put in a school lunch box and becomes serious like this. They are concerned about what we do so called neglect but every day most school children are entering asbestos ridden schools.

I have 6 children and 8 Grandchildren. If one of them was seriously ill and I was told there was nothing more the NHS was able or willing to do but found out there was another hospital and/or country that could and would be able to do more (assuming it wasn't some banana republic) then I wouldn't hesitate to remove them from their current NHS location in order to transfer them to the hospital and/or country that offered such promise. I would not expect to be charged with anything other than being a good parent and/or grandparent determined to do everything within their legal power to help save the live of a dear and beloved family member. David Cameron can bring all this mistreatment of Aysha's parents to an immediate halt with one simple hone call. Will he act? We shall see !
