The Island is overpopulated and with the new industrial area roads will be more gridlocked than they are already. If a large scale emergency were to occur the Island would be helpless. This is a necessity and not a whim. If a third road is not granted and something terrible were to happen, then be the consequences on the shoulders of power. Council takes our money now give us something back in return, something that is a need.

With more houses and cars another route is essential. At the moment the slightest delay or incident brings the island to a standstill. We need a route that doesn’t share Waterside roundabout.
