I live on Canvey and it is a nightmare leaving for work in the morning. My kids are arriving to college late and getting in trouble for something they couldn't help but.. Whilst the experimental one-way around Benfleet Station works for those living in Benfleet, it has made the Waterside Farm bottleneck worse and must be returned back to what it was.

Desperately needed, sitting in traffic for 40 mins a day is not acceptable!

All the powers that be want to do is attract more people to come to live on the island. But it is just that - an Island! Building new homes, more flats, converting pubs and shops in the pipeline, it's just ridiculous. The infustructure is not there to sustain it. A third road is of major importance from a safety and peace of mind point of view. We have no hospital on the island, so over 40,000 inhabitants rely on Waterside roundabout and beyond to be clear for any emergency. It's been debated for years and years with no effect. Just BUILD THE ROAD!

Badly needed. Sick of trying to get off the island and back on again during rush hour. It’s a joke!
Long overdue!
