Although I’m quite lucky as I live at the end of the island nearest too Waterside sports center but for family members and friends who have too travel on and off the island for work and even too come and visit myself the amount of time they and many other islanders sit in traffic too go about their daily lives is atrocious Canvey is far too over populated now and the roads just cannot cope with the volume of traffic on a good day so on a bad day when there’s an accident in the mainland Canvey Island suffers so much people cannot get off the island sometimes sitting in traffic for 2hours too get from 1 end too the other I understand there is a 3rd road already built for emergency services but it’s never been used this toad needs too be opened up and used for islanders too try and make life a bit easier for them and the more house that are built on Canvey and the more shopping complexes built on Canvey this brings in more and more people from the mainland again resulting in even more problems if there’s an accident

I live on Canvey Island and the traffic has got worse over the years with more houses and cars on the island. It only takes an accident and the island becomes gridlocked

It takes 45 minutes to get front the point to the station on a good day. One road issue and you are stuck on the island and late for work again.
