Get a third road off of Canvey Island

This is a must and has been too long in the planning . We need a 3rd road off the Island now

We definatly need a 3rd road on/off the island, traffic is bad and getting worse, god knows what would happen if we had to evacuate

Takes an hour and a half some mornings to do a 20 minute journey. My place of work on numerous occasions has pulled me up for lateness, regardless of leaving an hour grace to get to Basildon! Still late for work. Embarrassing and people’s jobs are at jeopardy.

It’s a debate that has been going on for nearly forty years. Local and County Councils just bury their heads in the sands and ignore the issue.

Traffic currently cost me 10 hour a week to get on and off the island.

Need another road off Canvey asap

Too many cars for current roads and with more houses planned it will only get worse. Gridlock is common.

I have lived here for over 50 years and there has always been talk about a third road off the Island but nothing happens just more and more houses

As a resident we need to introduce more routes on & off as I’ve seen emergency crews struggle to come on or off the island due to traffic

We need this road before someone dies waiting for help.

It about time the council stopped treating Canvey Island and its people like 2nd class citizens and start to listen to is, give us a 3rd Rd off and help with the constant congestion on the island

I go to school in Benfleet and I live on Canvey, sometimes it takes over an hour to get there in the morning! Xx
