Students pay $335 for a parking pass, and now they can not park anywhere, because all general lots are full. Meanwhile, there is the back of Lot J and the entire top of Rappahannock and Shenandoah parking decks completely empty. On top of all this madness, students are diverted to the Field House which is ridiculously far from campus and are charged an additional $3. The parking situation has made students late to class countless times, and it is just an unreasonable request to expect them to leave an hour early just to find parking. Commuters generally do not have all the time in world, because they are busy battling traffic and driving long distances. Now, they have to take additional and unwarranted time out of their day to find parking in lots that are 9 out of 10 times full. WE ARE TIRED OF GEORGE MASON WASTING OUR MONEY!
