there was just no way to prepare properly with the given materials (spec. fr prof molls part). The exam itself was way to hard, time was too short and some questions were very cryptic, which lead to overwhelming stress levels during that "exam". I cannot imagine anyone would get something better than a 4 (if they grade as said) , and those who managed to do that went above and beyond for that. this is simply not fair, it should be somehow humanly possible to get a decent grade for your investment, but instead the time of students has no value for professors whatsoever. Instead we often have to wait far longer than 4 weeks to get the grades we don't deserve. I hope something changes, I have no hatred against the professors, but seeing what kind of reaction people sometimes get for speaking the truth really makes me feel helpless. I think a lot of people are afraid to lose their degree due to unfairness and their studying should not be driven by fear. that is unhealthy.

To be clear, a lot of studying went into the preparation for this exam. This said, the first 15 mins of this exam, I just stared at the questions being utterly confused of what the profs want to hear from me. The time was immensely insufficient to keep a clear head and not to stress about how to actually answer every question and to upload in time. What is also important to mention, is how prof. Moll handled her videos that were our only way of preparing for her part of the exam; way too silent, confusing and every time she switched slides her audio files would overlap so 2-3 versions of her would talk at the same time which made it impossible to understand anything.
After the exam has concluded, i took some rest and later went over the questions again, I kid you not, I still barely have a clue on what the profs did want to hear in this exam, it is unacceptable to not being able to figure out what a question‘s purpose is.

This test was not set up as we were told on the first day of class. Namely, each section would have two questions. To understand fairness of the test, half of the class should pass at the evaluation level of 51%, a 4. This is standard practice at many of the top universities as there are many variables outside of the students’ control that affect performance. If 80% of the students are unable to pass the exam, it implies that the questions were poorly structured or the material was not delivered in such a way to pass the exam, rather than any students’ failure to study. I personally spent 40 hours in addition to listening to the lectures with this material and I am not sure that I will pass. This is unacceptable.

It was definitely insufficient time for answering 6 questions from which two questions are needed to draw. In my case, I have not found any time to upload picture. Due to my third attempt of this exam, I have prepared it quite efficiently. Unfortunately, for this shortage of time and unclear questions I couldn’t have done the exam as I had expected.

I agree with everybody else here that the questions just weren't clear enough for the amount of time we had and I'd just like to add that I think it's weird that there's never any assessment criteria on our exams. For this exam I would have liked to know how many points I would need to pass and if I need to have a certain amount of points in each part (so for Moll and Decker). Had I known that I could pass getting all my points from the Decker part, for example, I would have just skipped Prof. Molls confusing questions and focused my entire time on getting the answers for the other part right.
