Gene Watson is without a doubt the best COUNTRY singer in the industry with a phenomenal band. He is indeed a true gentleman, talented artist, compassionate friend who selflessly compliments and recognizes others on a daily basis. Following his awesome concerts, he is liberal with the time spent signing autographs, merchandise, having photos made with fans and will not leave until he has fulfilled wishes of fans who want to speak with him or receive an warm embrace..Other artists walk off the stage, close the curtain and don't look back at the fans that support them.. LONG OVERDUE RECOGNITION FOR COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME.

This is long over due. He deserves to be there for his dedication to keeping traditional country music alive plus he is a great entertainer.
