My daily is a 72 el camino and I get compliments everywhere! I'd die to get one of these full frame cars with some sort of iron block version of the 6.2 LS (not lt) engine series with awesome internals that could allow you to tow with this car! I'd buy one of it cost more than a new camaro! Please make it so it can tow!!!

my dad an i still have our 77 el camino. it always turns heads it orignally was saved from a guy on his mail route being used to haul dirt trashed etc....we saved her she then was in our garage months in primer. me at just age 15 wet sanded the whole body of the car 24hrs my dasld brought me out taco bell n mt.dew for drinks. from there she was painted two tone silver with burgundy red an a black stripe that was the first motor a 350 built up. then it was to a 383 stroker wasnt doin well. well now its a 454 with a custom flame paint job weld rims 4.10 rear end the 454 is fully built not spray all motor. matching two tone burgundy bench seat interior hurst shifter. my dad and i always go to autorama and naias in detroit for as long as i can remember. every year at the naias my dad asks the same question always why wasnt the el camino ever re made.

The ElCaminos of the past were beautiful! I like the new Colorado, but it's just too big (same size as the full-size pickup from the '70's)

Nostalgia is a powerful selling tool. It has proven to be true in the past, and I believe that GM would benefit from another RWD vehicle in the lineup like the El Camino.

I fully support not only resurrecting the El Camino, but also getting the youth of today to help guide the major car manufacturers into making the cars they will want in the future.
