I used to have an 86 Elcamino i fixed it up with my dad i loved it. Luxury of a car with the capabilities of a light truck.

The SSR may have been an attempt to revive the El Camino, but it was expensive, a hardtop convertible, and had "retro hot rod" styling. That's not what an El Camino is, an El Camino was a hard top car with a truck bed, priced like the family cars of the time, and designed after them too. Though two perks of the SSR: it had a nice V8, and a factory bed cover

Bring back the El Camino SS and the Chevelle SS they more then deserve to be part of the True American Muscle Car's on the road again!
