I grew up loving these cars too. I'm 20 now and I would love a 1970 SS model myself. I loved the Australian UTE'S as well. I would dig it if it made a come back.

As Dodge and Ford have both resurrected a few of thier "classic" vehicles, don't you think its time for GM to produce something worthy of calling it a re-creation? Don't tell me about the Camaro because I like them but they in now way shape or form are a "classic" like a Chevelle/El Camino! RETRO some vehicles GM!

I keep hearing that the youth are losing interest in cars, so when they show an interest I think the automakers should at the very least pay attention.

Hyundai just introduced the Santa Cruz concept, very El Caminoish. Imagine an El Camino, made with a new Chevy Impala front end and interior, and a nice long bed with hard cover and spoiler in back. Would be beautiful and could option for a nice trim package or a beast (horsepower) package.

I own an 86 El Camino, let me trll you they are amazing trucks, and if they start making new ones again that'll be the first thing I do is go buy one
