Without question, there is no one more deserving of our honor and respect than Gene Michael. Looking forward to that day when I will be at Yankee stadium and see that plaque. I'm sure the Steinbrenner family will make this happen.

He definitely deserved to be in there. He did so much for the NYY and recognition for his contributions should be duly noted by honoring him for same. Let's Go Yankees!!!

"Stick" always treated the Yankees organization as if HE was the owner. He truly loved the Yankees 1st. , than Baseball 2nd. (If that's even possible) !

Gene tossed a ball into the 3rd base stands at Game 3 of the 1976 World Series. My dad got it and handed it to me. I still have it. RIP Gene, you are a true Yankee.

He Deserved This Honor When He Was At Last Old Timers Game & 'Alive'...
A 'Dynasty' during ALL these Extra Playoff Series.... A No Brainer... Gene 'Stick' Michael was a 'Pure Genius'... Plaque in Monument Field is the least we ALL can do!!
