The administration confirmed today that construction for the gender neutral facilities begins next month. We have verified the school board budget allocation and will monitor the implementation phase to ensure the project stays on schedule.

We are pushing to get a gender neutral restroom on campus. We have a large community of trans students who we want to provide a safe restroom for.

I met with the school administration this morning to deliver the current signature count. They have requested a formal proposal detailing the specific campus locations we identified for renovation. Our drafting team is finalizing that document now.

I don't go to Venice, but I strongly support having (a) neutral bathroom(s). A public school's job is to make the students feel as comfortable as possible in their learning environment. (On top of actually teaching them, of course.)

Please allow this to pass! I know my friends and I would be more than grateful for a bathroom that they can use without having hateful and rude remarks from other students.

This is such an amazing idea, my older brother is transgender and before band practice is horrified to dress out in the bathrooms, this would make him so happy and feel safe.

my school doesn't have gender neutral bathrooms and I know how irritating and uncomfortable that can make school, so I hope this works out for you

Safety should always be a goal for every school. Why wouldn't schools create a safe environment for transgender students? Are they thought of ass any less than cisgender students? I feel like this is a very important issue and that it would be excellent for every student to feel safe.

single and multiple cubicle neutral bathrooms have been in use without incident long before this became a social fear, from small resturants to office blocks, and it shows an informed decision for the safety and comfort of your student body to impliment this. For every one student that openly requires it, there will be several more who are scared to ask. Making this change will set a standard of no discrimination for your students. This has already worked at my university and many other academic facilities
