I was walking past the old faculty lounge today and thinking about how much space is just sitting there while people are still struggling to find a place where they actually feel okay using the restroom. Honestly some teachers are finally starting to ask me questions about the logistics which is both terrifying and exciting because it means they are actually finally seeing that this is a real problem.

I was just staring at the screen and realized how much this has exploded since I first put it up because I honestly thought it would be just me and like two friends shouting into the void. It actually feels like people are listening now and that makes me want to keep pushing this until we finally get some real changes in those hallway bathrooms.

This is a great idea. We have 2 gender-neutral bathrooms and they are both in the high school. We need a gender-neutral bathroom in the middle school.
I want to be in a place I can use the bathroom and not have to walk home when I need to go.
All students deserve safe schools!
Gender-neutral bathrooms make the space more welcoming for everyone! Going to the bathroom should not be a stressful experience for any students.
Safety and comfort is a right that should be guaranteed for ALL students.
everyone should feel comfortable and happy at SAMS
Everyone deserves a school where they feel safe and welcome--gender neutral bathrooms are one step in that direction.

i feel like adding gender inclusive bathrooms would be a big step for me and for all transgender and non-conforming students in this school. id love to see it happen - hopefully before i graduate!
