Graduating soon but would have loved gender neutral housing on campus.

Though I identify as straight, I support an environment in which students feel safe, comfortable with themselves and their living situation, and want to help foster an environment where all students can thrive.

The only reason I would not be interested in living in gender inclusive housing on campus is because I will be graduating this summer.

As a current WMU graduate student, who is also transgender, I strongly support gender inclusive housing on WMU's campus.

Gender inclusive housing is not only helpful for those who identify as transgender*, but also for WMU's student population as a whole. Since it would make non-gender binary students more comfortable, gender-related tensions on campus would lessen and and produce visibility and more dialogue on all students' safety and comfort-levels.
