GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

We need fee reduction for 3rd term we all in very critical time and all affected by the current situation

I am the proud parent of Katerina Isabella year 5C and Kassandra Laetitia Zauner FS2B. My eldest child has been with the school since it’s inception. I feel that our family’s loyalty to Gems and our school deserves your agreement to discounting our fees. Thank you for hearing our concerns and I sincerely hope we all make it out of this tragic time without damaging more of our normal life than has already come to pass. Given the current circumstances, GEMS education need to relook into the students school fees. Given companies have started reducing salaries, Gems as the largest operator need to help parents during such times. When economy was doing good Gems increased fees year on year. With these times we expect Gems to do the same when times are bad.

In light of the economic instability, I kindly request refund of part 3rd Term fees (especially since students are not using school facilities) and reduction in further ongoing fees due to pay cuts across the board in all companies and massive layoffs expected.

Yes, totally agree.. Even the teachers are doing their best, but in these times GEMS shall reduce the fee without effecting staff..

I don't need a baksheesh from them. We are not get the agreed service or use any facilities of school , why i should pay the full fees!!! They give a horrible learning experience this semester. Is a 10 minutes video call per day called remote learning?. Sending files to the parents to explain the materials to the kids is what is are doing now. And they're just keeping ask to pay the full semester amount. I don't believe this. All the parents I know are disappointed from the way this school treats us.

When most of them have salary cut or no pay, and we don't know what will happens in the next 3 months to our salaries!!! Why only Gems trying to make 100% profit or advance payment for the next semester? No one can tell what's happening in next 3 months but schools decided to get advance payment, not fair

Please consider the current situation where everyone is affected economically and my FS1 child is not making great use of the E-learning program nor the school facilities. We are aiming for 20% tuition fees reduction as other schools already did.. thanks

You have to be considerate and honest about the real cost. A considerable portion of the indirect cost has gone down i.e maintenance, DEWA ...etc. most importantly, my wife and I spend 6 hrs every day teaching our kids which we paid you for to do !!!

Gems must offer a blanket reduction to acknowledge the sacrifices ALL parents are making irrespective of parental employment status. They must also supply the books, pens and other materials we are paying for.

As our salaries r reduced and we hav e two kids . Most of this e learni g ,I have to sit with my kid to make him u understand. It's great stress on parents. Some amount of fees reduction for such time will be great help. Thànki g you .

I completely agree and support this petition with the 50% reduction in the third terms fees. Especially when we have 2 children going to the same school.

Kindly , reduce school tuition fee or return , as it is payed by Gems credit card

the Relief Fund package is not made to help the Parents and not a compromise either (the only one who compromise here are the parents)
