This is a no-brainer, to be honest. It’s not just about hardship, (although my wife has lost her job at another school, in this crisis) it’s about fairness and value for money. We have paid full fees already, but reluctantly so. As as a parent, I do feel that GEMS needs to step up here.

Grade 1 kids are getting lot of home work without any explanation from teachers and makeover new ssubjects (hindi&arabic) directly teachers are teaching poems without giving proper basic. Parents are suffering. They are paying school fees and they are getting lot of home work. E-resources are fully utilising by parents then why school asking fee.
We are kindly requesting to review this matter and take necessary action.
Grade 1 kids are small. They cant sit long time in laptop which affecting their mindset and eyes.

Please provide us the reasonable discount on tution fee considering RL is not 100% alternative to classroom teaching.

My both kids are not getting enough information from school and school is threatening us that if we didn’t pay the fees for 3rd term the e learning will be disconnected.
Secondly both my child’s are disturb as teachers comes and address their favorite students and 30 mins passed muting and unmuting children . Ridiculous

Due to COVID 19.MY Husband where he works in a restaurant, was closed on 14 march 2020 and is on unpaid leave since then...his restaurant is close in whole Ramadan too..please help. And I have also lost my job in October 2019..please help

Since March the schools have started the online system due to the epidemic we face. As parents we understand and support the idea but we need the same understanding from the school perspective. We are getting the material from the school and online session which recently started for FS2 in which my daughter studies. These session are 15 mins per material which include phonics, arabic, math and literacy. Here in sessions teachers just go through the material and cannot go one on one with all students as it is not practical. After the session or material provided, we parents have to consume our 90% of time with our children to make them practice, learn etc. As working parents this is quite a load which we as carry and understand the need because as parents we donot want our children to fall behind. Now that we parents are putting most of the effort in this, how come the fees we need to pay for the complete term? This should be reduced by 50% aswell. There is no way it is fair for us to pay the complete term fee. This needs to be looked into.

As a parent I am spending half of my day assisting my kids instead of concentrating on my own work which brings income to the family. It’s a difficult time for all of us and Gems should re assess on fees.
