GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

Requesting for the discounts due to current situation.

Coz of elearning i had to upgrade our internet connection through a contract of 24 months in which I’ll have to shell out extra 5000 dhs per year. In addition I had to buy 2 devices for my 2 kids to enable them for elearning. Also I bought a printer and spending a lot on their inks and paper. Also we as parents are spending a lot of time with kids to make them study and do homework which is usually done by teachers. Request school to consider above points And grant a considerable fee discount just like other schools have done.

It’s important to have this fee discount; at this current situation. Gems needs to support us. I have 3 kids at Gems- KGS

Why is Gems acting like a spoilt child ? Be as empathetic as other schools around Uae

I didn't get a salary last month and this month too. I want concession in fee and I am getting fee reminded

20-30 percent reduction for T3

Dear GEMS Education Management, We’re closely monitoring the updates around the COVID-19 outbreak and how it will affect the current and future business in all industries. However; we appreciate the proactive actions and steps taken to ensure proper continuity of our pupils’ education through online platforms infrastructure with solid and interactive education materials. Your efforts with our kids are really recognized and appreciate. We can directly feel the struggle of your team to manage the teaching staff and GEMS network salaries by end of each month regardless the current COVID-19 circumstances as they need to cover their families, kids and spouse’s needs. So we are in one boat pushing together as one hand to reach the shore safely without any damage or losses. Currently my business in MENA region is dramatically affected as I am heading a regional team in Rolls Royce Power System Company selling Emergency Diesel Generator to construction projects, hospitals, airports …etc. All these projects have been canceled or put on hold because of the current low oil price and shortage of budget to finance the projects so honestly speaking I am cutting our family’s expenses to save some money for our needs and for the near future to cover any emergency cases. I am kindly requesting you to have a look on my kids situation in GEMS Founders Al Mizhar School as I already paid full school fees by August 2019 through FAB credit card…so let us have a win to win deal to support our families by deducting some amount of T3 school fees which I already paid for my kids Maryam Karim Ahmed Barakat Y5-A (12503500002501) & Youssef Karim Ahmed Barakat Y3-C (12503500002500). Can’t afford fee for the time being

We must engage nearly as much as the teachers do so reducing the fees should be natural.

Request for the discounts on Fees due to the current situation

We as family are going thru hard-pressed times as I'm out of job and my wife's business in shut down, so asking GEMS management to be considerate and reduce the fees , if not waive the last term fees and probably can change back when times get better.

My 2 kids are studying in Our own Indian high school al quoz

I am a student 10 yrs old. I love school. I also love my teachers. If you reduce fees maybe we can stay at school next year. If you don’t Mum and Dad say maybe we can’t go to school next year

Not ok. Should be thinking of the best interests of the child in these times which includes the emotional and physical health. Already parents are stretched in every way - financially, physically, emotionally. The children also and sending a full account for the fees is atrocious when most others are pulling together and being considerate. This is a time for GEMS to care for the children not just their back pockets $. Your costs have gone down with no one at schools. No maintenance, no water bill, no bathroom or equipment replacement nor maintenance... and yet for us our costs have increased and you charge us full fee!!?? Some compassion PLEASE!

My hubby got less than 60% of his salary from last month and this month might get less than 50% till further notice since the bussiness is totally closed down till June .Kindly consider this difficult siruation that we are facing now . Thank you in advance

Request Gems Schools to co-operate with the Gems parents during this crisis Let's keep up the faith!

This is terribly unethical to charge fees so high and not reduce to at least 50%!! We as parents are doing the majority of teaching ! We are also paying for all overheads. We are paying extra A/C, craft, equipment, printing, resources not to mention our time . For those of us who also work or have other children this means we must do our work outside school hours.

I have 3 kids and i paid already. Now all my time is given to the kids learning so we deserve minimum to get a discount even if i paid in full fees but guvr us little of our money back.

Requesting the consideration since we are affected for Salary drop due to current situation

The discount should be for all parents as all are affected .
