Good afternoon Parents. For information I just sent an email to GMS finance to ask what are going to be the FEES for 2020/2021 and their response was:
Dear Marco,
The fees for next academic year remain the same as this year which is AED 86260.
We have 3 terms for the academic year and the fees can be paid in 3 installments, we will also offer payment plans for parents in case they require more installments.
If there are any further changes in the fee structure and any packages available we will let you know.
We need to fight for that. Kings/Nord Anglea ALL the other schools have reduced their fees and Ministry of education announced today might be again E -Learning!!!!

Due to the current situation, we are facing difficult times, please reduce tution fees by 50% it would be a great relief in these difficult times. It is very difficult to manage. A considerable amount of stationery also used in terms of paper, books, printer inks. it is very difficult we feel that we teach students more than teachers themselves at home.

GEMS Our Own Indian School please reduce your tuition fees we all are going through a difficult time. People who are lucky enough to still have their jobs are forced to accept lower wages / go on unpaid leaves. Certainly schools saves on certain fixed expenses such as utilities and others. We appreciate that school is paying full salary to teachers, it must be sensitive to hard times parents. , schools can’t charge the same fee for online classes as there is no real classes! Parents also putting more effort and paying more expenses we dont have internet, we are using mobile data from day one. Please reduce the school fees.

YES, it is very difficult to manage. Considerable amount of stationery is also being used in terms of paper, books, printer inks. All the more, it is difficult we feel that we are teaching the students more than the teachers themselves.

I had salary reduction 40% due to COVID19 situation so I applied for 3rd term discount which was refused and offered payment plan instead.

Schools must reduce their tuition fee as everyone is going through a tough time. People who are fortunate to still have their jobs are being forced to accept lower salaries/ go on unpaid leaves. Even the school is saving on certain fixed expenses such as utilities etc. While we appreciate that the school is paying full salary to the teachers, it must be sensitive to the parents’ challenging times. Also, schools can’t charge the same fee for online classes as the real classes! No one does!

GEMS World Academy are not providing the educational service we are being expected to pay for - 50% discount should be applied! This is not only about the crisis. GEMS education standards should be reviewed by KHDA ASAP.

I,Rajasekharan PS, father of Sidharth Raj, hereby requesting you to reduce the school fees of my son by minimum 50% due to the current situation and financial crisis. Due to the outbreak of covid 19 my salary has been deducted by 56% and currently I am working from home. My current salary is not sufficient to run the day to day expenses including house rent.
So I seek your approval for the above mentioned discount for settling the outstanding dues....
If you require any further supporting documents it will be presented by further request.
