(TEAM GLICKERT) Lynne Glickert gets what it takes to create and encourage the next generation of artist. Sadly, egos and politics (silent killers of greatness))are at privately at play here which will effect our youth. This school is the most amazing school in Saint Louis. Staff is professional, skilled, personable, and humorous. POLITICS POLITICS POLITICS is the weeds in our beautiful garden. This situation is a morale killer all the way around. People you live and you die == its what happens in between that matters....

We want the best for our children and grandchildren. Can the Confluence Board of Directors see that this continues in the right direction?

The position of HOS is vital to this school thriving. It is vital that Lynne retain that position.

I would like to trust the Confluence Academy's Board of Directors to do what they say, in the best interest of the students and future students of the most amazing school in St Louis and possibly the Midwest. The actions of this board are teaching us, again and again, that we cannot trust them. Why do concerned parents need to continue to fight so hard to keep Lynn Glickert in a position where she can continue to have the great success she has created since inception of GCAA? What will it take to ensure this school reach it's highest potential which Lynn Glickert is clearly manifesting? Please, let's work together so we can be proud of our children's growth and accomplishments, and the recognition that GCAA is one of the top schools in arts and academics in the nation!

This is so disappointing. Let's use the positive energy of the GCAA community to build on it's future instead of wasting it on this kind of distrust. The board needs to honor it's word as a model behavior for it's students.

I have also tried to be objective .... In hopes that this board would be fair and remove its power struggle/vindictive pursuits of Ms Glickert. I think some on the board are vengeful and do not really want this school to continue to be a success, when the other Confluence locations are struggling. In fact when I speak to others about how fantastic my god daughters school is, then I mention it is a charter school affiliated with the confluence schools. They state their opinions very openly in disregard for confluence. I assure them GCAA is nothing like what they have heard . Wonder if the fact that Ms Glickert, the administration in the building, the teaching team, the support teams, the support of the parents, the support of the students ....all combined make GCAA a place to grow, learn, excel, achieve ... Upsets them. All this occurring under the leadership of Ms Glickert, and the groups mention above is want has lead to the success of GCAA in such a short amount of time. This kind of shows perhaps that the board has had little to do with the daily success of the location ( if they did the other confluence locations would be doing as well, and be in a better place). There are a couple on the board that need to put their ego in check, and now out gracefully...leave your position with dignity and let go of vindictive measures and approach.

Lynne is vital to success of GCAA! She has and is doing an excellent job and I believe she is the Right person to guide this school and continue the success! Let us concentrate in more important issues instead of fixing something that is not broken.

I am a current 10th grader at GCAA. Confluense actions are not the ones we agree too are with. As a board that "serves" our comminuty, it's doing the exact opposite. Since the issue that happened this past summer I've been observing and trying to understand the school ( MY school ) politics. I've noticed that they tell us what we want to hear and go behind our backs and try to under mind our intelligence. WE ARE NOT FOOLS, and we REFUSE to be taken advantaged of. You gave this verbal contract already knowing that without it written in stone there's a chance to fall back on your agreement. Honestly, after the class of 2014 Im afraid to say, the school will not shine as bright. Our very own board is destroying the foundation of our school, it's vision, the students and teachers trust before it's complete. I'm standing my grounds, WE'RE standing our grounds as a family. Leave us alone! TRY TO FIX THE SCHOOLS THAT ARR FAILING! If things doesn't change now and the board doesn't open their eyes to the bigger picture, GCAA would just be a memory of something that could've been.

Again Confluence? We have ZERO faith in your ability to remain transparent and true to your word. Please stop harboring growth in this community. It has been fostered and nurtured by Lynne Glickert... we stand behind her.

I attended this school for 3 years I was there from the beginning and Lynn glickert was never around when I asked about why the dance program was set the way it was she refused to answer she did nothing when my 12 year old sister shadowed the school and was pushed down the stairs she was merely a shadow looking forward to attending the school obviously it wasn't a good fit the dean of students is wonderful Lynne was just never around and didn't seem to care much

Please keep with the original plan or put Lynne Glickert back as the principal of the school. I don't know why the board keeps choosing to mess with a good thing. It is hard for schools to succeed and GCAA has been succeeding.

Lynne Glickert's vision has made this school what it is today.

The egos of the Confluence Board members should not trump their responsibility to provide the best possible administration for GCAA and the need to honor their commitments to parents and students.

Lynn Glickert has put her heart and soul into this school. She should continue to lead GCAA.

We need Ms. Glickert to continue to have a say in how this school is run.
