I am vehemently opposed to this re-zoning request, and the "justification" for it provided by the builder is laughable. We are supposed to believe that "millennials do not want to own a lawn mower.” Evidently, they do not like to walk up stairs either. The builder needs to live up to the original agreement. If their request is approved, they need to, at minimum, remove the "Cramer Woods" name from the development. This would in no way be representative of Cramer Woods!

The situation around Huffstetler road is already dangerous. It is almost impossible to enter/exit at peak times of the day. Using McDade as a pass-thru will compound the problem and put the neighborhood children walking to surrounding schools at risk.

We moved out of the neighborhood (Cramer Woods) because this neighborhood was being built behind our house. They are ruining that area.

I moved to Gastonia to escape the overcrowding of cities. To get away from houses built so close together you could hear your neighbors fart.
Bethesda Oaks is already becoming one of the ugliest developments in the area. Overpriced houses with no land, privacy or sense of being. They all look the same bland old style that serves to only make people depressed.

Same thing going on at Beaty Road and Kendrick Road, We need roads widen and at least a third turning lane on these roads. Our schools are overcrowded and tax just keep going up. Or better yet, STOP THE BUILDING. All the City and County thinks about is more money coming in, but we see no results.

We are against this. The schools are over flowing. The most important thing for me is the roads. We only have two lanes and we are already having to accommodate the housing below Stowe's and other developments.

I don't live in the affected area, however, as a lifelong Gaston County resident at some point the powers that be need to think about the impact that these developers have on the surrounding neighbors. While it does increase the tax base, it puts incredible burdens on the infrastructure and the neighbors' peace and ability to enjoy life. Vote NO to rezone.

Also a new homeowner on Spindle Ridge... cut through road can on McDade & Spindle Ridge and will impact us all negatively. There is no reason, other than lined pockets, for this to be approved. There are no benefits for the area, the city or the residents. My vote is ABSOLUTELY OPPOSED!

The added traffic through the existing neighborhood is a huge concern. During morning and evening rush hours it is nearly impossible to turn onto New Hope with the existing traffic. This can only exacerbate the issue.

Our schools are already over crowded, our roads are at capacity and for greedy builders to come in and want to build 18 more home only to line their pockets with additional cash would mean the city cares more about the greedy builders than it does the people that live in Gastonia and Gaston County.
