I remember back when I was just a little geek about yay high, and some of the games I bought for the NES, SNES, and Genesis came with some super sweet posters of devine sweetness. Then they just stopped with the poster giving out... Well, a bunch of my \"home slices\" and \"G\'s\" miss those fine days of having things to cover our walls with in our dark pits of solitude. Sure EGM and some other magazines come with posters, but it\'s just not the same. I\'ll be sending this bad boy to a lot of game companies like Acclaim, Sony, Nintendo, Infogrames, Activision, and a lot more.
I really thought this would just be a small note to myself and a few friends but your response shows how many of you genuinely miss those paper posters. I am starting to draft letters to these game companies now because it is clear that we want more than just the digital files on our screens.

I still have my old Zelda map from the 90s hung up in my garage. Modern games are just boring cases with a disc inside. Bring back the extras!

Seriously it costs them like 5 cents to print a poster. Miss the days when opening a new game felt like a real gift.

The feeling of unfolding that poster was the best part of getting a new game. bring the hype back.
