When Gaijin
introduced 1.47 they removed the x2 reward for the first win in every nation
resulting in a big RP (Research point)loss.
Gaijin replaced the old and loved system by a new booster system which gives
you a random booster each day you login. But that new system is far from good,
because it lowers your overall RP income and increases the grind. Gaijin staff
keeps saying how the new system is better but it’s far from good unless you get
500% RP boosters every day
.
The old
system gave you 200% for each nation which was great; even if sometimes you
didn’t do well you still would get a decent amount of RP. Now with the new
system if you pull a silver lions booster you obviously make way less. Let’s
say you get a +30% booster for 10 games explain to me how you make more than
the old system which was 1000%.
It just doesn’t
make sense at all and it’s only a way for Gaijin to sell more premium
aircrafts/premium account. I see a lot of players complaining on the forums but
Gaijin keeps ignoring its community and it's really frustrating. War Thunder
did introduce the crates which give you a chance to win something and I think
that’s a good way for the company to make easy money and is fine with me, if
you want to gamble it’s your own choice.
Overall
most players miss the old system and don’t play as much since the release of
the last patch, not only would the new patch bring more player it would reduce
the queue time.
If we can get maybe ten thousands signatures it might make them change their
mind and realized they were wrong.
As interesting as the boosters are: the X2 EX should be returned to the game in the next patch to allow for a much more satisfying leveling that is fair, rewarding, and mentally encourages and rewards players to work though the grind of leveling and researching their vehicles. Without X2 multipliers their is less incentive and reward for playing the game. the boosters can still be retained, but as a suplement to X2 multipliers. Such a system is maintined to great effect in Star Conflict, so why not retain a similer system in War Thunder?
