I'm all for everyone getting the treatment they need, but right beside a bar, seriously. Put it somewhere else m

When anger is so close, it is best to hold back my comments 'til I am calmer.

The original deadline should not have been changed. The Weiden's won fair and square. This needs to be investigated.

I say NO. This town is too small and it is too centrally located to the town. It would turn off tourists, too. I truly believe it would bring too much negativity to the area. I support rehabilitation facilities fully but it needs to be more in the outskirts of town not right smack in the middle of it.

Brendan and Kathy Weiden's proposal for an arts/cultural center is much more in keeping with the spirit of Narrowsburg, and a much likelier economic booster for the town and the county. The town's voice should matter.

There has to be a better solution than a drug and alcohol rehab center!!! This would not be good for this beautiful community!!!

The middle of a village is absolutely the wrong place for this type of facility. It makes no sense at all. A rehab facility should be on many acres, set back from the road, and private in all respects from the surrounding area. A camp-type setting, where there are many acres as well as things to do, would be more suitable.

NO, NO, NO! How about a community center for children that are bored so they don't fall into the "drug life"?

please don't add this to our small little town.

Narrowsburg is a considerably small hamlet and a rehabilitation center of this size would negatively impact this small community.

You're out of your MIND with an idea like that, there's NOT enough property, Rehabs need 25+ acres, You'll have all kinds of People roaming the streets and bothering neighbors right next door 25 yeards away. Who the Hell came up with this bright idea? Make it a tech school, 30+ Career change school, NOT a Rehab, NOTHING but Trouble

Are there other buyers? Is there evidence of township decline when rehab centers are introduced? I'd sign this petition if someone would give some solid reasoning why this is such a horrible development. This just sounds self-serving and short sighted without more facts.

as much as I KNOW how badly GOOD rehab centers are needed, to put this in the middle of a SMALL town that has quite a few bars per capita, is not really the brightest idea! there has to be SOMETHING that would benefit the town better than this! I believe that rehab centers should be nowhere NEAR a bar or other temptation to those struggling hard enough as it is to beat the disease of addiction! THINK PEOPLE!!! also, I have heard that the rehab center in question in Fla. is not really all it advertises.....
