I fully support any inititave for recovery of those addicted to substances, but have a rehab cernter of this size in the center of Narrowsburg is not a wise move. A building the size of the proposed facility is TOO LARGE. Imagine the number of patients. Too many unanswered questions. As taxpayers we need to push for more local and sustainable uses for the building. Some of those uses could include an ongoing service to those in rehab, such as fitness, education, etc, but not as it is presently proposed

My wife and I were seriously thinking about purchasing a second home in Narrowsburb but will not do so because of the rehab center. This center will greatly reduce home values and deter visitors.

This smells of classic lazy public officials combined pure ignorance.

A Drug Rehb Center is a disincentive to invest in or visit Narrowsburg. We love Narrosburg and hope that this torpedo will not hit the town!!!

I think a sustainable food center would benefit Narrowsburg more than an addiction facility.

This would be a terrible and short sighted mistake to open this type of rehabilitation facility rather than an art and commerce space that would only compliment the surrounding town's commerce and tourism. Making the area even more of a destination. Please reconsider this decision as it is imperative to the community.

I do agree the location is not a good one.

Why is the competing bid, clearly favored by the community, not given the opportunity to match or exceed the bid from the rehabilitation center ?

Not a good idea.

I have yet to hear about a petition expressing concern over the alternate proposal for a community center. The potential of a center for arts seems much more valuable than the $9000 difference.

The fact that there are just over 400 residents in Narrowsburg and there are over 500 people that have signed this petition speaks loudly. The local area needs a community minded center that will enhance the lives of children and adults, locals and visitors. The rehab center is not appropriate in this location.

I hoping that the town board will not allow for the zoning of a drug rehab center. The community center would benefit our little hamlet so much more. Please do the right thing and say no to the Changes rehab center.

This in no way is in syncronicity with our rural towns vision of a community

one of the worst possible ideas as to what to do with this building. this would not be a positive addition to the town.

A Community Center would be a much better use of the school for our children, teens, adults & seniors. It should have been put to a public vote & not decided by just the town board.
