Since my family were the original homesteader on this land mass in the 1600's any thing that can be done to preserve it would save it for others to use and as bonus they may even learn something about Portland's, colonial " Capisick".

This beautiful pond is over run with foliage and needs to be cleaned up. It could be restored to it's old 1960's self with a little help. Please do this before it is taken over completely!

It is unusual to have a large freshwater pond in a city such as ours. Care for the pond is long overdue and I fully support all efforts to revitalize it's natural beauty and importance to our Cities ecology, wildlife and recreation
