Don't stop sports, kids won't have anything to do or anything to look forward too. They will have no reason to come to school or even think about going to college. Alot get scholarships for sports. Children will do more drugs or become gang members or even end up in jail. Please do not stop sports

Students need to have a well rounded education. We need to make better use of resources. We need innovation not elimination.

Please do not cut any of these activities. These activities are very important to the young adults who participate in them and they look forward to all of them. Why would it be right to take something else from the kids? Raise the taxes if needed it would not be that much and these young adults deserve to continue in what they love to do.

Music is equal to any sport. Many children who participate in music programs go on to use those skills professionally and life long. It is not an “extra,” rather, because of music, my child is able to engage and achieve academically. It is where his grounding for learning and belonging come from. Because he has a skill, goals with those skills, and a community of support, he can fight through what is hard at school. He gets up for band and then works for school. Much of the funding for after hours band is paid for by the kids, fundraisers, and community. Cutting band will cause ramifications that far exceed any small savings that might be perceived.

Don't take from the kids they have lost enough this year. Taxes are high enough. Especially when I don't have kids in school but my grandchildren are.

Not understanding why this is happening. Funds could be and can be cut elsewhere. Please, don't do this. Our kids have suffered enough why put them through this. They've worked hard and long to achieve where they are whether it's sports, music or whatever.

All these items helps kids develop skills, friendships that last a lifetime. Please find other things to cut and let the sports. These kids work so hard to keep grades up and manage time to get all their school work done and play sports.

Taking sports out of school is like taking Christ out of school. When that happen the whole school systen , and quality of schooling went down. Sports and the Arts are what help to shape children along with schooling. Not sure what is the deciding factor, but don't make permanent decisions in a temporary situation.

Taking away our sports is like taking away some of our lives, some of us live to play sports and taking them aways will just be stupid
