As a resident of Whispering Pines, I have seen our area grow rapidly since my son attended Farm Life School in the 1990's. The school was at capacity then! Let's move ahead with this construction. It is long overdue.

It is unfair to teachers and students to be overcrowded. It is a distraction to learning and NC is 48th in education. We are selling out our children's future.. A good future depends on the best education-NOW! We are not 3rd world.

I've been an educator in four states, and have never seen such overcrowding as at Sandhills Farm Life School. Please fix this!

This issue is paramount amongst the community. The reason families move here is for the schools. If our children are learning in trailers, families will leave the area! Use this time of parent involvement to ask for help. Ask for parent volunteers if the cost is too high. If the community really wants change, they’ll volunteer!

We moved to Moore County solely for our two daughters to receive a top notch education.

We definitely need a larger school. My kids have been going to there for the last few years and even since then the school is bursting at its seams. It's only going to get worse there are more and more families moving to this area. This is something that needs to be taken seriously.

My children attended SFL and had a wonderful experience. The teachers and administration give their all to the children. Mrs. McNeill will do everything she can for the children, but she cannot magically create more space. That is your duty to the parents and children of this school district. Do the right thing!

As the grandmother of three young school age children and former teacher, I realize the need and importance of providing the best schools possible for all of our children. Please heed the requests and fund the new school.

This is the moral and right thing to do.

I am the mother of one of the children Principal McNeil told the story of having to be in a mobile classroom on the front lawn of SFL. That is completely unsafe and what my child has to go through on a daily basis is unacceptable. Fund the new school. My children will not benefit from it due to their ages, but so many others will.

Please provide the emergency funding to fulfill our county's pledged promise to provide "exceptional services that make Moore County a premier community in which to live, work, and raise a family." Sandhills Farm Life School is now more than 200 students above the recommended school size as a result of continuing population increase and projected increases in the area served by this wonderful school. The teachers and administration provide a caring and nurturing environment but can no longer provide all the services they once could, including enough bathrooms and safe conditions for going to and from bathrooms from mobile units in inclement weather. Please act now for the good of all our students.

As a parent of 2 children at Sandhills Farm Life, we can no longer ask our administration, teachers and children to work with what they have. The conditions within the school are not acceptable. (The safety concerns of the mobile units in front of the school are mind-boggling!) Please fulfill your word and obligation to our community.

We are in desperate need of a new school in this area. There are many more children in the surrounding neighborhoods who soon will be reaching school age, therefore the need for this school will be desperately imminent.
