Our students deserve the same education as everyone else in this country. The idea that we are even considering closing 4 high schools shows that we are in dire need of funding. Please do something about this immediately for the sake of our students!

Our urban district has at least 40% of our properties as non-profit. Our schools are falling apart and I am ashamed when we have visitors of the condition of our buildings. Our students and staff deserve a safe, warm, pleasent looking environment to work and learn in.
Our students deserve what our neighboring districts students have such as enough books, safe secure environments, art, music, PE equipment, sports, band, cheerleading, etc etc etc. THIS IS WHAT YOUR CHILDREN HAVE !!WHY NOT OURS!!! Other districts are facing or will be facing the same difficulties we are, therefore we NEED a FAIR FUNDING EDUCATION FORMULA that meets the needs of our children NOW!!
I propose that your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews etc. enroll in the City of Erie Schools so you as their family will experience what we do on a first hand basis. Walk a month in our shoes if you can or dare to.
