I do not think we need to increase funding for education, but I do believe my tax dollars should stay in MY school district.

There is no reason to close anymore schools, I understand there are some money issues but how can we expect Erie to survive if we cannot educate the cities future.

We can't have anymore schools closed down.can't over fill classrooms in other school and double the class and expect a teacher to teacher double the kids and expect the kids to learn if their is so many others in one class that the teacher won't have enough time to help or answer anyone else if the class rooms are over populated.they are filled enough as they are now..think about the kids .they are our future..I'm afraid that with the amount of kids now that drop out that it will get worse if any of the high schools get closed down..please.we can't let this happen.
Thank you

It is imperative for our school district to be funded the accurate amount of funds from the state that will allow a quality education. We are working citizens for the state of Pennsylvania and pay into taxes. OUR state is responsible for providing OUR children with a "QUALITY" education. Education is not a privilege, but a responsibility. If legislators do not want to fund us then we need to stand up and fight back by (1) being registered to vote and (2) not voting for the legislators who are against us. Justice must be served. Education is key success.

Pushing our children into other districts will not only affect the learning process for each child, but overburden the other districts teaching and learning. Taxpayers should not have to carry the burden either, You will cause more people to leave Erie than stay. It appears that maybe the funding is not being handled properly or overpaying higher ups in the district?????

There needs to be a new funding formula and the severance tax on drillers needs to be passed as well.
