Harrisburg, provide fair funding for our children in Erie, they deserve it, shame on you if you do not do this.

The government officials need to pretend that their children are attending schools across PA that are
not funded properly. They are slowly dismantling public education.
Why is there a complete lack of empathy and concern for the students in Erie and across the state of PA? Cesar Chavez said, "The end of all education should surely be service to others." I would think our
public government officials should also be concerned with public service- to all citizens, but most of all to students, who are the future.
WAKE UP!

Our teachers have shown good faith, sacrificing over 2 years worth of salary with increasing demands from the state, local, and federal government. It's time for the politicians to do their jobs and justify their pay checks by distributing the tax money we've already paid into the system and distribute the money fairly.

To abandon our high schools is a travisty. We need to find better solutions for our schools , how we tax our citizens and become ore involved in the process. We do not need more non-profits buying up property and taking it off the tax rolls.

It is time for our government to act on the way funds are distributed to public schools. The poverty stricken school districts and I are demanding a logical and fair share in funds.

This idea of shutting down is absolutely ridiculous! How about Mr. Badams takes a pay cut? As a nation we are seriously lacking in education. Let's not make Erie another statistic.
