I am ashamed that our state puts such a small value on our children, WE MUST DEMAND CHANGE!

I graduated from one of the best schools in the state that operated on one of the lowest budgets in the state. I am a nurse in the ICU, giving this school district a chance is not only important for the kids and teachers who teach in it, but it hugely important for all the businesses in the area.

I go to collegiate academy and I find it very annoying how we are treated as if we don't matter, and there needs to be a change

We need fair funding. Public Education is a constitutional right and ALL children deserve equal opportunity.

Please help the Erie School District get more State Funding to keep the Erie Schools open and not running with a deficit. Harrisburg should be using the Fair Funding Formula, and not the Hold Harmless one!! SHAME on Harrisburg for allowing us to get to this point, that are schools are crumbling around us!! The Superintendent has his back against the wall, with NO MONEY to keep our schools running appropriately. WAKE UP, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE FOR OUR KIDS!!

Either Erie will become the new Detroit, or our high schools get funded. It's really that simple.

Our schools may not be perfect obviously or in the best condition but a vast majority of the students are hard working and are willing to do whatever it takes to fix the budget. Some students don't understand the budget and what's going on and they just blame the first official they can find like a governor or senator, but others like myself understand who's helping the budget and who doesn't realize what the real problems are. I hope whoever reads this knows what the real problems are.

The Erie School District above the national average for both students in ESL/ELL and in special education, yet we receive less per-pupil funding #wedeservebetter #Erieed

There is no excuse to keep well-deserved money from kids that have nothing and are desperate for education. My highschool, Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy, is my everything, and if you (state representation) have the option of neglecting not only Erie but ALL districts in your state, yoi are sadly mistaken, and will very soon be removed from office because of your carelessness. You do not deserve the money this state pays you if you do not make decisions for our betterment.

Change the formula for funding! The size of the city and schools should be the main criteria.

Public education is the most important part of living in a democratic society. It's imperative to our society that it not only be funded, but supported and protected.
