Continue to keep city safe. Remove illegal encampments. Protect residents of Seattle.

Seattles co-dependency with the homeless and drug addicted needs to stop. I am really tired of politicians making themselves feel good at the expense of everyone else, including the homeless. Allowing individuals to get away with anything they want is condoning bad behavior and will not encourage change. All of us are responsible and accountable for our behavior. These people should not be given a pass and that is exactly what O'Brien and Sawant are doing.

Look to cities like San Francisco to see what happens when you invite all greenspace to be used for homeless encampments. This is not only a disservice to the residence but a safety and health concern. Please stop Seattle from being over run by people moving here specifically because Seattle is allowing people without home to camp anywhere. Allow the city to continue to house people rather than use all greenspace.

This is the most ridiculous thing ever. As a tax payer and citizen I have the right to a clean and safe environment. We must continue to keep our city safe. We already spend 50 million on services this should be enough. Please do not allow camping in green spaces.

I grew up in Seattle and it looks horrible with all these tents and garbage. PLEASE do not allow illegal encampments

Please consider all Seattle residents and not just the homeless !

I support Mayor Burgess' proposal and budget and urge you to strike down the proviso as proposed by Council Member Kshama Sawant concerning homeless.

I'm a tax payer. I use the parks, my grandchildren use the city parks, This is not an answer for homeless.

Letting homeless people camp all over Seattle does nothing to help them get help for drug, mental health and addiction problems. I am an RN in a major medical facility in Seattle so I am very familiar with this problem. Furthermore, unsafe encampments and cars/RVs all over Seattle degrade the environment for everyone living in Seattle yet do not address the opioid and mental health epidemic that is the true root of the problem. Yes, the city is expensive- I moved here from Tennessee and so I'm aware of that fact- all the more reason that the homeless need real solutions not just willy nilly squatting all over the place.

Please continue to support the navigation teams. Camping in our parks is not the solution.

This is ridiculous. Our city’s streets and parks are overrun with vagrants who ruin the environment for our tax paying citizens. The council to present real solutions that don’t compromise the neighborhoods’ safety and appearance.

We are tired of living in an unsafe environment. Seattle is no longer a beautiful city. We want to help these people, not enable them to continue down this destructive path.

I'm signing this petition because I believe that the Mayor's plan is working and should be continued.

Addicts and homeless people can not safely and humanely be allowed to camp in the city.

Clean up these vermin infested encampments.

This ridiculousness has got to stop! They are not camping, they are squatting, and it cannot and should not be allowed to continue. Seattle is not the movie set from "Escape from LA", but it sure looks like it... doesn't it?

Please strike down the proviso, the "camping" is getting out of control and a mentally ill, drunk homeless man tried to grab my 14 year old daughter when she was trying to get to her bus for school. I never used to be afraid to leave my house alone, but now I don't go anywhere after dark unless I'm with a group.

No city encampments for homeless, People need facilities: garbage collection!!!! Toilets, social workers. City becomes a health hazard and unsightly. Recommend self managed buildings with facilities and supervision.
