Unsanctioned Camping is Unsafe! Fully Fund Compassionate Intervention!

I pay a lot of taxes to keep up our parks and recreation areas - not to have them trashed by drunks and druggies. Let them stay in their tent cities or open the doors of city hall. I don’t care what you have to do, but they can’t stay in our city parks.

People should not be living on the streets or in the parks.

As an elected official your first responsibility is to protect the existing tax paying citizens you serve that voted you into office.. Safety is at the top of the list. The crime rate has been continuing to increase. Please keep our neighborhoods SAFE! Ecampments are an illegal and unauthorized land use that pose a public health hazard, degrade the environment, and most importantly, are exceptionally unsafe, unhealthy Thank you Guy Bennett

I volunteer at Mary’s Place and have served as a CASA. My signature is about safe and clean public space. It is not meant against homeless people. They deserve better places

stop these people from harming the greenspaces. its really embarrassing when family comes to visit this beautiful city and theres tents and garbage everywhere. make it stop!!!!

We it to be legal even for a month for people who wish to sleep outside to do so on public park, trail, or other city property which is designated for other public uses!

These homeless encampments are a blight on the city and are dangerous. They are dirty and full of rodents. By opening more spaces for homeless encampments you are only encouraging more of these people to move here.

No homeless settling on sidewalks under bridges, in parks etc. I won't go to my public places anymore because of this ridiculous situation.

I agree wholeheartedly with this petition. I have a disabled child I don’t want endangered and I don’t want my property values to decrease.

I don’t think there should be a law saying “sleep any where you want if it’s out of the way”. If someone is in an out of the way spot, the law doesn’t need to be enforced. Lord knows it’s not always enforced now.

The people who have taken over the corner of I-5 south at 50th and 5th have brought a criminalelement to our neighborhood. They said to a meighbor that they need $100 a day each for their drug habit. That is not coming from their savings accounts or pay checks.

Time to do what yyou aid you would do to provide safe spaces for people on the streets. Two independent experts said we have the resources and we voted to give you more, Now up to you to follow through.

The opening of public spaces fo homeless encampments is the exact opposite of what we need to do to help the homeless. Stop this ridiculous discussion.

Letting homeless camp doesn’t help them... Move them up (thru services) or move them out.

I disagree with making every green space in Seattle 'open' for camping. This will only encourage others to come to our city which will exacerbate the problem, will not address the real issues and is not a scalable or sustainable solution . Agreed it's a complex situation and it needs a solution, but not one of a free-for-all to pitch a tent anywhere. This creates unwanted public safety and health issues. Please continue to support Navigation Teams to get these people 'real' help.
