People sleeping outside is not a solution or City should be promoting. It is not compassionate or humane and will worsen a large problem out City faces. It is time for our leadership to step up and start thinking differently about solving this problem. The current thinking is clearly not working!

City parks are something all citizens should be able to enjoy. Allowing poeple to set up camps in parks isn't consistent with the best use of the resource. I don't support allowing homeless people to live in the cities parks. Keep the parks clean for everyone's enjoyment.

It is not compassionate or safe for ANYONE to allow camping in public spaces in Seattle. This is particularly true for women and children. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away. I request that you continue to remove them and move these people towards the services and shelter options other than camping in our city.

Compassionate solutions are what’s needed. Increasing camping spaces does nothing.

Thanks for putting this together. Our city looks like crap and most of the homeless refuse assistance.

Please improve public safety, maintain the integrity of our green spaces, and continue to fund the present approach to decreasing homelessness. It is working.

Let’s wake up city councilman !! This city is unsafe for our kids to walk around . When will we start investing in our city to make it great again??? We need our city back . It needs to be a safe place for our kids and families to walk around and our tourists.

I don’t know what the solution is to this huge problem we have with tents and campers all over this city? I do know that I don’t care for all the garage that gets left behind. This seems to be a more compassionate way to start resolving this issue.

Any initiative that makes staying homeless easier needs to stop. The negative impacts of these camps on the residents and the rest of the city can't be ignored, please stop trying to make symbolic gestures that will ruin the city.

I strongly support the message and concerns of this petition. I do not think sweeps should be stopped and that the Navigation team(s) should be allowed to continue, if not expand upon the good work they are trying to do.
