Unsanctioned Camping is Unsafe! Fully Fund Compassionate Intervention!

Our city council is crazy

I may have already signed this petition.

We need to keep the sweeps of homeless encampments.

Find permanent housing and improve the current shelter system in the meantime.

Our parks are for habitat preservation. Camping pollutes and destroys habitat. Find somewhere else to put campers.

Having people live under bridges is not compassionate. Clean up the camps and find housing. Please think of the majority of the citizens of this city of Seattle, and consider their needs of a clean and healthy place to live.

Take back this city Return the city to people who work hard and pay taxes. Stop catering to every special interest group Show respect to those of us who have lived here for over 30 years and love this CITY

I first came to Seattle in 1992. This is not my Seattle. Unsanctioned encampments are not compassionate, it is enabling and dangerous to the residents and are ruining our city. Do something productive besides looking the other way!

Enforce policy and clean up the crime and disgust! Enablement is not compassion.

This is the worst idea in a long history of bad ideas. The homeless industrial complex wants to grow for the same reason a dog licks its balls, because it can. It has no idea why, it just does. Anyone who understands the problem knows this is exactly the WRONG solution.

We need a quick solution not years down the road. Clean up camps, safer environment for everyone

I absolutely do not believe in allowing people to camp in public places or in public parks. I am more than willing to pay higher taxes to accomplish a safe haven for people to live. I will not VOTE for any candidate that encourages this type of lifestyle.. If I have to follow the rules everyone else should have to as well.

I fully support Mayor Burgess' proposal re. homelessness and oppose the proviso proposed by Council Member Sawant.

The city cannot allow illegal encampments. They are dangerous and creating a public health and safety issue. Kshama Sawant needs to go. She is ruining the city.

We must address the safety of everyone in Seattle.

I support authorized encampments with sanitation services and access to services support a pathway to stable housing.

It’s inhumane to allow these camps. We can do better as a city.

Double standards have no place in Seattle. Enforce the law. Don’t allow illegal encampments and the trash that accompanies them.
