This is still a very bad policy choice. And the City Council should stop wasting their time on such nonsense.

We are making what was once a beautiful city into a city that is dirty and full of filth. For a city that says it is concerned about the environment and safety of its citizens the city council is doing a poor job!

We need fixes to the problem. We don't need enabling of the problem at the expense of our children.

We as a community should not see camping in parks, under bridges and in cars as an option. Our city leaders need to spend our tax dollars on solutions that make lives better not worse.

This is a stupid and ridiculous idea. We must maintain the ability to go in and clean these encampments up.

I really want the city to fund sustainable solutions for homeless people in our city. Camping in parks is not a safe or a sustainable solution for our citizens.

This is egregious and cannot happen. I grew up in Seattle and cannot believe what is being allowed to happen at Greenlake!! To add, we use it often - my young daughter swims 3 days a week for a community swim teamat Evans Pool and due to the high level of homeless in and out it feels unsafe. As well, on the West side of the lake cars are routinely broken into as witnessed to the piles of glass in the lot. It's not safe, it's not sanitary, nor is it good for the environment and it needs to be addressed.

C'mon, City Council! We are tired of our city looking like a junkyard. Start enforcing the law re: unauthorized camping!

No camping in public parks or any public green spaces! Clear out the encampments and put all homeless in one central refugee camp.

We all deserve to feel safe. We are aging and feel vulnerable in our parks without oversight of these groups.

Ravenna Park tent camps are surrounded with garbage studded with needles. The inhabitants create trails which remove the vegetation and cause erosion .

Enough is enough. I have compassion but the city is becoming a cess pool.

I support Mayor Burgess and his budget proposal. Please tell the council that homeless camping should not be allowed in parks where our grandchildren play.

There is enough development in the city that can pay for safe housing for the homeless.

Sanitation should be foremost on the minds of the city council or we will find our city with the same hepitis problems as San Diego!
