People have been calling for security for couple of years shame on council that they have taken no notice poor chap should never had to go through this he has a right to freedom without fear

I can't even bring my kids to this park for fear of who will be there doing what. It's time to get security sorted. Disgraceful what happened to Eoin and all the others who have been preyed on down there.

The town park used to be a lovely spot to bring the kids, any time of the day, no matter what the weather. Now it's not worth the hassle. Please bring back security and also install CCTV to bring some order and allow the people of Carlow town to enjoy this spot again.

Something needs to be done I don't go near the park anymore as i don't feel safe there.It's really sad because it's a lovely area and I'm probably not the only one who avoids the park because of this.

I'm not surprised this happened. The park does not feel like a safe place even in broad day light. Would be good to see some level of policing!

The town park is a no go zone for decent people with the scumbags that are drinking and terrorising people .. Time for security is now !!

Terrible thing to happen to a wonderful talent person always smiling things have to change. Next it could be a grandparent or a young child. Something has to be done.
