I have a child in high school and jr high and my wife is a jr high math teacher. I understand the need to keep kids safe and healthy. But closing school in anyway for COVID-19 is ridiculous. It has a mortality rate below 1 percent. Why don’t we close school every flu season? Our kids are suffering emotionally and I worry the toll that will have let alone the pore education they are receiving. Kids need structure, they need teachers in there lives, they need the social interaction. Let’s stop delaying this longer then we need to.

Our children need school! Please rethink your decision and put our children back to school. They need structure, friends and teachers! Many parents have full time jobs, and we are not able to work 40+ hours a week, and then come home and try to help our children with their homework. My two boys fell behind the Last few months, my spouse and I tried our best, but we are not teachers and my children LOVED their teachers. Please for the sake of mine and others mental health as well.

Please delay school start or get the kids back in school all 5 days. I have come to terms with the mask but I just can’t do homeschool days.

There is no reason for this schedule nobody else is doing this including counties that are hot spots.

The kids need to be back in school. There has to be a way to accommodate those teachers with health concerns. They could possibly teach those children interested in the online option.

Open school for students full time!! Kids need to be in school learning from their teachers! This insanity cannot continue. Our kids are suffering and the people in charge are not looking out for their best interest!!!! Open it!!!!!!!

I am an essential employee keeping the power to our state on, my wife is an essential employee as a therapist, my kids being able to go back to school is essential and teachers are essential, my taxes should not be spent for my kids to sit at home.

If you can allow football you can allow children at school full time. Football is a lot of direct contact.

I am for them going back to school, it was sort frustrating trying to get my children to sit down to do online and it took up most of the day.
