At least try sending kids back to school normally. I think we’d all be surprised that there won’t be a spike in cases.

Virtual learning is not the same as learning in the classroom!

All of this quarantine and isolation is not good for the soul. They need opportunities to be the good for people that look up to them etc. interaction is important.

Please allow our kids to return to school full time. There is more damage being done by delaying or providing an alternative school day

My son needs to be in school full time, his mental health and grades suffered horribly last term. He is in high school and his grades and learning are crucial, get these kids back to school and the parents who live in fear can keep their kids home, let the rest of our kids get back to normal

Schools are essential! Our children need to be in school full time. The deaths of despair and risks to their emotional health, and social growth far out way those of getting and recovering from Covic-19. The AAP has recommended that our children be physically in school.

This puts my children’s mother in such a bind when it comes to work and child care. Not only that, you’re stunting the kids full educational experience. Two days a week in school is just crazy. The education of our children is more important than a political agenda by a superintendent that can’t see the whole picture.

Our kids need to be in school full time. Why are we not looking at the studies that show that kids are not the carriers of Covid and they can’t spread it? Please do not do this to our kids. My son will fall so far behind.

It's not in the best interest for children who have IEP's.

This is wrong to keep kids from going to school. Most parents work and can't afford a nanny or daycare. Kids as a whole do not get COVID. I bet this is political pushed by the teachers unions.

Plse stop this petition!!! The district is doing what they can to help stop the spread of Covid and other issues. Your making the situation worse!!! The world is changing.... we need people to come together instead of fighting. Stop scaring your kids with negativity and show them how to adapt. This is what is wrong with our world. For most kids, this change is for for the best. It’s not going to make everyone happy but Deal with it and move on, show your children how to cope with real life issues and how to Cope with change. This petition is ridiculous and self centered. We are in a pandemic and things need to change!!!! Thank you Davis county!! Thank you for meeting us in the middle and helping the situation and not ignoring it! Thank you for thinking of the teachers, children and family members and not only one group. I’m signing this petition only to leave my comment... stop being spoiled babies, open your minds and realize change needs to happen. Deal with the decision with grace and change, this was made with deep thought and trying to see all sides. ❤️

I’m a student that hates school but I need it right now. Going to school gives me a social aspect of my life. Not only does school help with learning but also social skills. I don’t have many friends so I need school to talk to people and meet new people. If I don’t have that then I will be stuck inside all the time whether I like it or not. Please help us get school back.

My kids fell behind when corona hit. I’m a stay home mom and it was difficult without the structure and personal learning they were use to. I can’t imagine what working parents will have to do to make sure their kids Stay self motivated and productive. PLEASE Keep our schools back in session .

I truly felt like Davis School District was listening. I felt so lucky to live in a District where our leaders looked at the whole picture of what a child and family needs with regard to the fall plan. Then they blind-sided us. I feel that I have to speak up instead of remaining silent regarding a plan fraught with pitfalls. Please reconsider this new plan. And If you agree with the thoughts of this petition, please speak up as well. We must not remain silent any longer.
