Why are we letting the politically driven pandemic drastically affect our children's learning and social well being? Let our kids go back.

Kids need to be in school full time. Their mental health and education are declining considerably. I want to protect the teachers but there has to be a better way to approach this.

This is a disaster. Many kids will LOSE a YEAR & a HALF of learning due to home circumstances they CANNOT control. DSD must not cave to the scare tactics and fear mongerers. More kids will LOSE than win in this situation.

To my knowledge there is zero evidence of a child transmitting COVID-19 to a teacher. Zero evidence that closing schools helps lessen the impact of this virus. Zero evidence that children and youth are in greater danger due to school attendance. This is just another hasty, uneducated decision by the Davis school district.

Open the schools! Where are our rights as Americans! Our children will have long lasting effects from this! Give us our tax money back to support schools if you are going to take away our children’s rights and freedoms to attend schools!

Let’s give anyone who wants to send their kids to school full time a chance to do that while allowing others who want to keep their kids home to use that option as well

Kids need to be back together...learning together as a class. Parents know what we are sending our kids back to and we know the risks so keep it as planned without A/B day schedule. Let kids have a bit of normalcy for their mental health ... even tho masks and social distancing aren’t normal- at least they can do that and be back with friends and learning. 3 days remote learning will put kids behind and they are already behind from the spring. Teachers are doing DOUBLE the work worrying about remote learning while teaching kids in the classroom... this new A/B plan is ridiculous.... parents can keep kids home and do online if there’s a concern. Get our kids back to school with daily in class learning!

Look out for the kids and the next generation. The people that want to keep their kids home can and have that option. The numbers show that people want their kids in school!

Have they not followed all the recommendations?? And that survey. Ridiculous. Things have changed since that survey.... sounds like it’s time for a new school board

I have a child that has a ADHD. My child functions better in a classroom setting anyssa social interaction with other children. Doing the intervention was a struggle to get my child to do it
