The numbers do not support a two day school week. Remote learning is not working and should only be an option to those who are sick and have to stay home. This is a disservice to our students and future leaders. They are falling more and more behind with this nonsense.

I don't understand this quick decision, why not start with a normal school schedule and if a problem comes up, then change. My kids need to be in school full time. The tools used for home school are a joke and are not enough to support our kids education.

I work at an Elementary school....children need to be there everyday!!! They learn soooo much better!!!

As a grandmother I see the negative impact no school has had on my grandchildren. I know it is scary but I think we need to give it try before we just say no!

Make it our choice whether or not to attend in person or online. Please give the teachers the option to be completely in person or a completely online teacher. Please don’t take our choice away from us.

I have 3 kids in school in Davis County, they all want to go back to school full time.

If you want your kids to go back to school full time then wear a mask and social distance. The numbers have proven that this brings down viral transmission. Ignoring the fact that our community isn't doing a good job of reducing the spread of this disease is not appropriate to put on our children or our teachers and especially not our health care workers.

I was not happy with o line learning. Mostly because teacher gave assignments and then turned the kids lose with no understanding.

My husband is a teacher and ready to go back to work. I am an essential worker and dental hygienist and have been working this whole time. If i am safe to work then teachers are essential workers.

The numbers in Davis County do not support this decision. Our kids are being impacted in the most negative ways, depression, anxiety, withdrawal. We cannot do this to our children and our community.

These kids have to go to school 5 days a week or it will be a failure on the district to these children and to their parents. We do not pay taxes for the parents to have to homeschool.

People should be free to make decisions about their health and their education, that's why we live in a free society. Our form of government has always relied on it's citizens to be prudent and calculate risks/benefit for themselves.
Parents have always had the option to keep their children home. The majority of the community is in support of school resuming normally.
If you can show me evidence that children contract and spread the virus, on a large scale sample (not one case somewhere) that would be a start.
Why on Earth would we keep Home Depot and the liquor store open but school is just too dangerous
