I have a child with an IEP in elementary school that very much needs the face to face learning style a 5 day week provides. I also have a senior who struggled with online courses last spring and needs to finish his senior year strong with 5day face to face learning.

The longer this goes on, the wider the gap will get with less-priveledged families

My children suffered last time we had school at home and I was there helping them. They suffered depression, irritability, boredom, it was horrible being away from friends and their common school setting. This virus will get to 100 percent of everyone. 99.9 percent will be just fine! Continue on to NORMAL not this fear mongering new normal plastered everywhere.

This is very difficult for single parents or parents who both work full time. They cannot quit their jobs to be at home for the homeschool.

For the sake of the children’s educational and mental health, please allow kids to go back to school in person.

99% of Davis County is against this. It is simply not possible for most parents. There is no science that backs it. If there is no change, the only option is class action lawsuits. And believe me, they will come.

I have taught preschool and head start for 20 years and I feel like the ramifications of not having our children in the classroom far outweigh the risks of Covid 19

Please, they need to go back on a normal schedule. This is absurd. No rational person would believe this schedule protects anyone. Enough is enough, drop the optics and do what’s best for the kids, please.

Send Our kids back to school full-time in the fall! Allowing them to go only 40% of the time will do more damage, and in countless other ways than COVID-19 ever will!

My children do not do well with remote learning. Schooling is vital for them!

My son wants and needs to be back to school. Parents are given opportunities if they don't want their kids in school but our choice to have our children in school was taken away. Violent protests are ok but school is not? Not right, stop hurting our children and let them come back full time!
