The kids NEED to be back in school full time. There are so many cons to part time or online school. The scientific evidence shows that it is safe enough for these kids to be back. Let’s make the right decision for our kids!

I agree with the AAP recommendations for children to be back in school with an option for on line if parents choose, one or the other we don’t need a hybrid.

This is ridiculous, the District needs to reconsider this decision. I'm a Single working mom and my child lost her father 2 years ago. This needs to stop. Not all of us have families or daycare that can accommodate this ridiculous schedule. Kids need normalcy again as well.

Please allow kids to return back to school for 5 days a week. The flu is more deadly than covid 19. You are ruining our children's education.

We need to get back to school, work and allowing everyone to start making choices for themselves and not be dictated to. Our children need to be able to interact with their friends and especially with their teachers. Not all homes have the ability to teach from home, for many different reasons and the students will suffer immensely. This in itself will create many more issues that can lead to a lifetime of problems for these children. If this was not an election year this would look entirely different. Let's be honest about the testing and the total cause of death, rather than labeling everything Covid-19.
We don't shut down for the flu, which many people die from every year. This is America. Folks we need to not lose our freedom!!

This decision is based on fear and not science. Children are not at risk and are not spreaders of Covid. Many more people die each year in Davis County from influenza than have died from Covid. Our children are stagnating. Create an option for parents who want to do on line school with higher teachers. Let the other children back for full time school. Covid will always be with us, we cannot destroy a generation emotionally, socially, and mentally by over reactions that are driven by hysteria. This did not work during the last months of the past school year. It be a failure again. Citizens should not be required to pay taxes on a service that is not being provided. This school board will be accountable for a decision that impacts these children, their resilience, and hope for the rest of their lives.

Please make school full time. It's hard to do two days only with two full time working parents.

The quote below is from the very first page of the Utah Department of Health Covid-19 school manual. By limiting school to 2 days a week the district is forcing more exposures on families where parents and children have to go to child care options. This directly forces more exposures. This alone should be enough to hope for the school district to change, they can’t blame the health department for their choice. “COVID-19 spreads very easily and quickly. Even if you are doing everything right, your school may see cases of COVID-19. The more people a student, teacher, or employee interacts with, and the longer that interaction is, the more likely COVID-19 will spread in your school. “

Please, at least give the choice to decide if we would like our kids full time. As a single, full time working mother who has had the virus and has her own personal thoughts and opinions regarding the virus, let us choose what is best for our children

This has a financial impact on our family. Furthermore, it significantly affects my stepson with severe special needs. He needs routine and needs to be in school with his peers.

I am all for safety and decreasing risk. But Davis County’s new policy seems to be the most strict despite having low case number compared to other counties.
