I am currently compiling the stories you shared here to present to the Fringe office directly. Send an email to your local representative today and demand that they pressure venues to provide these refunds.

The momentum behind this push proves that artists are united in demanding fair treatment from these venues. Now is the time to turn this energy into pressure by emailing your local representative to demand transparency for our community.

it is honestly disgusting how they are treating independent performers right now. we dont have the luxury of sitting on cash reserves like these big venues.
This is the very least the Fringe can do if they insist on their irresponsible and dangerous policy of not cancelling the Fringe full stop. They are trying to stave off losing money themselves by asking artists to lose it on their behalf.

You can't roll over registrations for venues that might not be there in 2021.

RETURNING THE MONE IS THE ONLY FAIR THING TO DO. stop holding onto cash that isnt yours.
